New Orleans, La. - A grand jury on Thursday indicted three suspects arrested for the rape, robbery, and kidnapping of an Uptown woman.

According to the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office, the suspects, two of them juveniles, were each indicted on four counts of aggravated rape, one count each of aggravated kidnapping, and one count each for armed robbery.

The victim was kidnapped at gunpoint from the 1200 block of 8th Street on February 5. Police say the suspects forced her into a waiting car and drove her around for approximately 45 minutes while they sexually assaulted her.

She was then dropped off several blocks from her home on Chestnut Street. That's when the suspects stole the victim's car.

Several days later, New Orleans police located the vehicle in the 800 block of N. Dorgenois Street.

The suspect are identified as 15-year-old Sheldon Jefferson, 16-year-old Joseph Davis and 18-year-old Christopher Davis.

Authorities moved Sheldon Jefferson and Joseph Davis to Orleans Parish Prison after a probable cause hearing in juvenile court.
