New Orleans, La - FOX 8 received the following statement from UNO announcing the closing of the UNO Children's Center on Monday due to the water boil advisory:

The University of New Orleans Children's Center will be closed tomorrow, Monday, March 4, due to the water boil alert in Orleans Parish. Staff should still report to work. While we apologize for the inconvenience, the welfare of the children in our care is our chief priority.
