New Orleans, La. -

Four schoolchildren are under observation at a local hospital after their school bus was struck by an apparent hit-and-run driver.

It happened shortly before 4:00 p.m. at Tulane and Carrollton. 15 kids were on the bus when another vehicle struck it.

A FOX 8 crew at the scene reports there is little apparent damage to the bus. None of the children on it were seriously injured, though four of them were taken by ambulance to hospital for observation.

We have no details at this point on the suspected hit-and-run driver.
