Slidell, La. - A 41-year-old Slidell man is in jail after police say he used the Internet to lure a teenage girl for sex.

A spokesman with the Slidell Police Department says in January, 41-year-old Wilmer Segue met a 15 year-old through his Facebook account "J's Cakes N More" where he allegedly runs an online bakery.

Police believe that Segue uses the bakery as a way to lure teenage children. After several online conversations, Segue arranged to meet the 15-year-old female. At some point, the two began having sexual relations.

The girl's mother was able to intercept some of the messages between her daughter and Segue. She immediately contacted Slidell Police.

All communication was severed between Segue and the 15-year-old, at which point, Segue began to stalk the victim. Segue began waiting outside of her school, and would watch her leave on the school bus; then he would repeatedly drive in front of her residence in hopes of seeing her.

On Thursday, Slidell Police caught Segue in front of the victim's residence and placed him under arrest.

Segue is now in the St. Tammany Parish Jail with a $175,000 bond.
