As free agency approaches free agent linebacker Jonathan Casillas is patiently waiting for his destination to be determined.
Casillas has always preferred to remain in New Orleans but is very realistic in his approach to free agency.
"I would love to stay in NOLA, it has been my home for the last 4 years," Casillas told FOX 8 Sports. "But I am excited to test free agency and see where I could possibly end up."
He said he has not heard from the Saints yet this offseason and that his agent has fielded calls from possible suitors.
"My agent has been talking to other teams who have been expressing some interest."
Casillas came to the Saints undrafted out of Wisconsin in 2009. Last season, he recorded 30 tackles and one interception.
His best season as a pro was in 2011 where he had 43 tackles and three sacks.
