New
Orleans Police are investigating a shooting that left a 28-year-old man
dead. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of
family members.
Shortly
before 8:00 P.M., in the 14000 block of Willowbrook Drive, officers located the
victim lying on the front lawn of a residence suffering from a multiple gunshot
wound [sic] to his body. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators
are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify
the person(s) responsible in the incident, as well as a motive.
Homicide
Detective Nicholas Williams is in charge of the investigation and can be
