Lockheed Martin to build LNG tanks at Michoud

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Gov. Bobby Jindal says Lockheed Martin Corp. will create 166 new jobs in the New Orleans area with a new project building tanks for liquified natural gas.

Jindal made the announcement Tuesday at the Michoud (MEE-shoo) Assembly facility in eastern New Orleans. Jindal says Lockheed Martin is making a $3 million capital investment in the new project.
