Homicide
Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man. The
victim was found shortly after 7pm at the intersection of Earhart Boulevard and
South Claiborne Avenue. The name of the victim is being withheld pending
notification of family members.
The
victim was found in the driver's seat of a black Acura. He'd been shot
several times and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators
are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify
the person(s) responsible in this incident, as well as a motive.
Homicide
Detective Justin Rice is in charge of the investigation.
