LONDON (AP) - A doctor in Britain who
used a wristwatch camera to film himself sexually abusing patients has
confessed to dozens of offenses.
Prosecutors say Davinderjit Bains
used a Tieex 4GB Waterproof HD Spy Watch DVR, which has a camera on its face,
to record assaults on patients at his practice in Royal Wootton Bassett in
western England.
He was arrested last year after
assault complaints. Police said they recovered 361 high-quality video clips
from Bains' watch and home computer.
At Swindon Crown Court on Friday,
Bains admitted 39 charges against 30 victims, including sexual assault,
voyeurism and sexual activity with a child.
A Detective Inspector Mark Garrett,
who led the investigation, said patients "put their trust in their doctor
and Dr. Bains breached that trust massively."
He will be sentenced later.
