New Orleans, La. - A man who climbed to the top of a construction crane has come down safely, a spokesman with the NOPD says.
Around 7am, a man wrapped in a blanket was seen at the top of the crane located at the construction site of the VA Hospital on Tulane Avenue.
The man remained atop the crane for at least 90 minutes before NOPD negotiators were able to talk him down.
The 46 year-old man will be taken to the hospital for a further evaluation.
