DOTD announced I-10 lane closures in Metairie this week

Metairie, La - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces a series of overnight lane closures this week on I-10 in Metairie.
Monday through Thursday, March 18 - 21 from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., the left lane of I-10 westbound will be closed between Clearview Parkway and Veterans Memorial Boulevard. Construction crews will work during the lane closures to prepare the roadway for the continued widening of this segment of I-10.
All planned construction activities are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution through this and other highway work zones. Also, be alert for the presence of construction workers and equipment.
Geaux Wider NOLA is a multi-year construction initiative to widen Interstate 10 from six to 10 lanes between Clearview Parkway and Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
