New Orleans, La. -

Police say one male victim is dead after a stabbing in the Central City area.

NOPD says it happened around 8:30 Monday evening in the 2600 block of Third Street.

A brief advisory from NOPD says the male victim, age unknown, "was found on the sidewalk... he was stabbed multiple times and died on the scene."
