FOX 8 received this news release from the La. Attorney General's Office Tuesday afternoon:

West Monroe—Bond has been set at $1.5 million for a West Monroe man who was arrested and charged with 150 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles, announced Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.

David Wayne Greer, 41, of 1xx Candy Queen Lane, was arrested Sunday as part of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General's High Technology Crime Unit, Attorney General's Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office and Federal Bureau of Investigations Task Force.

Greer is accused of violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles.  He was booked into the Ouachita Parish Prison without incident and could face up to 20 years in prison on each count, if convicted.

To report suspected cases of Internet crime, contact the Attorney General's High Technology Crime Unit at 1-800-256-4506.
