The Physician-Patient Alliance is conducting the first national survey on patient-controlled analgesia practices. Data from the survey should provide valuable information that will help determine current practices and indicate practices that should be adopted to improve patient safety and health outcomes.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) March 20, 2013

The Physician-Patient Alliance for Health & Safety (PPAHS) announced today that it is conducting a national survey on patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) practices. This survey is being conducted with the help of another non-profit organization, A Promise to Amanda Foundation (http://www.promisetoamanda.org).

If you are a physician, nurse, respiratory therapist, pharmacist, or other healthcare provider, to take part in this brief national survey on PCA practices (which is only open to healthcare providers), please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PCAhospitalsurvey

Michael Wong, executive director for the Physician-Patient Alliance for Health & Safety says, “We believe that this is first national survey to explore practices related to delivery of patient-controlled analgesia. Data from the survey should provide valuable information that will help determine current practices and indicate practices that may be adopted to improve patient safety and health outcomes.”
