FOX 8 received this news release and a photograph from NOPD Wednesday evening:
NOPD First District Detectives is asking the public's assistance in identifying the man seen in the photograph; he may have critical information about a shooting that sent two people to the hospital, which happened Saturday December 15, 2012 at the intersection of South Gayoso and Palmyra Street.
Two victims, a male and female, were shot during a possible robbery attempt. They were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both victims have since been treated and released from the hospital.
The individual in the photograph is NOT wanted for the shooting at this time, He's simply [a] "person of interest."
Detective Shawn Jenkins is in charge of the investigation.
