Police investigate Saturday afternoon shooting

New Orleans, La.- The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 3800 block of Lousia Street that injured a 25-year-old man.

It happened just before 1:30 p.m.

A spokesman for the NOPD says the man was shot in the shoulder and transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injury.

The victim is listed in stable condition at this time.

This shooting is still under investigation and details are limited at this time.
