New Orleans, La. - Military heroes honor a Braithwaite father and son for their courage during Hurricane Isaac.

Jesse Shaffer, III and his son Jesse Shaffer, IV received the "Citizen Service Before Self Honors" during a special ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery Monday.

The father and son rescued 120 people stranded in their Plaquemines Parish community during Isaac.

20 living Congressional Medal of Honor recipients hand out the awards every year.

Jesse Shaffer, III expressed appreciation for the honor, but said they are representing a lot of people who grabbed boats and did the same that day.
