Police release images of "person of interest" in Uptown murder

FOX 8 received images from video surveillance from the New Orleans Police Dept. Wednesday afternoon, along with this re-distribution of a March 18 news release:

NOPD's Homicide division is asking the public's assistance in identifying the man seen in the photographs; he may have critical information about the shooting death of 21-year-old Kendall Williams, which happened March 4, 2013 in the 4100 block of Washington Avenue.

Williams was gunned down and died on the sidewalk, while a second man was shot and sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The individual in the photographs is NOT wanted for the Murder at this time, He's simply "person of interest."

Homicide Detective Gregory Hamilton is in charge of the investigation.

Crimestoppers is offering up to a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person(s) responsible.
