Assumption parish cocaine seizure

Napoleonville, La.- Assumption Parish narcotics agents seized a kilo of cocaine during a traffic stop Monday afternoon.

Agents stopped a vehicle on Highway 1 in Napoleonville and discovered a package of cocaine inside.

Deputies arrested the driver of the car, 54-year-old Larry Woods of Napoleonville. He is booked with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. He is being held on $200,000 bond.
