Prosecutors seek to revoke bond for accused rapist

New Orleans, La.- Prosecutors ask a judge to revoke bond for former model and accused rapist Dean Kelly.

An assistant district attorney tells Fox 8 Kelly was engaged in suspicious behavior, which is why the state asked for his bond to be revoked.

The ADA wouldn't specify what that suspicious behavior was.

The 41-year-old man is accused of raping two teenage girls in 2005 and 2006, and also charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile and second degree kidnapping.

His case has been filled with drama.  In march 2011, Kelly collapsed in the courtroom as half a dozen Tulane students testified that he had harassed them as well. 

A few months later, he was badly beaten inside Orleans Parish Prison and in November 2011, Kelly was booked with possession of contraband while in jail.

According to court documents, Kelly was allowed to post a property bond after surrendering his passport.   He's also wearing an electronic monitoring device.

He was released on bond august 15th of last year.
