Three people wounded in separate shootings Thursday night

New Orleans, La. -

Police are investigating two shootings in the Crescent City Thursday evening.

NOPD says the first one occurred around 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Tulane and South Broad, where a male inside a white SUV was shot several times.  He was rushed to a nearby hospital but we don't know his condition at this time.

The second shooting happened around the same time at the intersection of North Derbigny and Frenchmen.  A male and a female, ages unknown, were shot but their wounds are not believed to be life-threatening.
