ExxonMobil grant to aid Baton Rouge education

 

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - ExxonMobil has announced a new $450,000 grant focusing on improving science instruction in schools across north Baton Rouge.

The money will be divided among three organizations over three hears. The Advocate reports that  $75,000 will go each year to the LSU Cain Center; $60,000, to New Schools For Baton Rouge; and $15,000, to Teach For America.

ExxonMobil representatives visited the library of Scotlandville High School on Friday to make the announcement.
