Baton Rouge, La. - The LSU 2013-14 basketball team got good news Tuesday when sophomore forward Johnny O'Bryant III announced he will be returning to Baton Rouge for his junior season.
O'Bryant III earned All-SEC honors in 2012 and helped his team shake off an 0-4 conference start, finishing a respectable 19-12. He says he was inspired by watching Monday night's national championship "I think that watching that game last night just really gave me chills. I'm very excited about next year. We have a good recruiting class. My job is to help lead those guys in the right direction, show them that anything is possible through hard work."
This coming season, coach Johnny Jones has a top ten recruiting class to add to the mix. He knows just how important O'Bryant III will be to a successful season "The impact that Johnny made on our team this year, the attention that he received in the latter part of the season, I think, speaks volumes about his future. I think it's a sign of maturity for him to process and an opportunity for him to process that type of information in a timely fashion."
