Lafourche Parish, La.- Police arrested two people after discovering a methamphetamine lab at a Lockport residence on Tuesday.

Kyle Trosclair, 29, and Shelby Howard, 19, were arrested after deputies responded to Howard's Lockport residence in reference to the possible manufacture of methamphetamine.

Upon arrival, police discovered several items commonly used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine and called agents with the Lafourche Parish Drug Task Force to began an investigation.

Investigators learned Howard had purchased items for Trosclair to be used to make meth and two bottles were also located inside the residence believed to contain byproducts of methamphetamine creation.

Meanwhile, agents obtained a warrant for Trosclair's arrest for the same charge.

On Wednesday, police noticed Trosclair fueling his vehicle at a gas station and he was taken into custody on the active warrant without incident.
