Suspect wanted for Gretna bank robbery


Gretna, La. - The Gretna Police Department is searching for a suspect in a morning bank robbery.

A spokesman with the Gretna Police Dept. says on Monday around 10:15am, a man walked into the Capital One Bank at 91 Westbank Expressway and handed a teller a note demanding money.

The suspect was able to escaped with an undetermined amount of money.

He is described as an African-American male, around 6'2", and heavy-set. He was wearing a long sleeved black shirt, black hat, dark blue jeans, and sunglasses with a gold rim.
