New Orleans, La. - The Hornets' home finale Sunday ended with plenty of fanfare but also with the familiar frustration of a disappointing loss.

The team is now looking to finish their season on a high note in Dallas according to point guard Greivis Vasquez "We've got to do a better job than what we did [Sunday.] We watched film, and it was really bad.  Wednesday, win or lose, we can't put out the same effort like that. We've got to come out and compete and play harder and play our basketball and try to get a win."

Shooting guard Eric Gordon agrees "Just the main thing is to play hard.  You can't control your wins and losses all the time, but as long as we have a good outcome in terms of just working hard, then I think we'll have a great result after that."

Vasquez added Sunday's loss to many others which will fuel the offseason "We will remember all those games, we're going to remember this pain right now, we'll remember what happened yesterday, and we're going to be better."

The Hornets and Mavericks tip off Wednesday at 7 p.m. central time.
