Scott Fujita has retired as a Saint

New Orleans, La - Scott Fujita, a key member of the Saints Super Bowl run, is retiring as a Saint, despite having not played for New Orleans in three seasons. The 33-year-old linebacker has signed a one day contract to make his retirement 'official' after 11 seasons in the league. He spent the last three with The Cleveland Browns.

Fujita penned the deal in Macu Picchu, high up in the Peruvian Andes mountains. Fujita is on a trip with former teammate Steve Gleason, who is battling A-L-S.

Fujita signed with the Saints in 2006. In fact, he was the first to sign as a free agent in the Sean Payton era as head coach. Fujita played with the team through it's Super Bowl season.
