Thousands enjoy nice weather at day two of Jazz Fest 2013

New Orleans, LA -- When the gates opened at 11:00 a.m. Thousands of people packed the New Orleans Fairgrounds for the second day of the 44th-annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

From the Blues tent to the Gentilly stage, somewhere there's music playing that everyone can enjoy.

Many festival-goers plan to wind the day down at the Acura stage with the "Piano Man," who is sure to sing all the great hits.

More than 100,000 people will visit the Jazz Festival during the two weekends.

Festival Producer, Quint Davis says weather plays a big role.

"That's so important to this festival," says Davis. "We do it rain or shine and everybody knows that but at this outdoor festival we have 12 stages of music. It reaches its scene when it's in the sunshine."
