Flash flood watch remains through Thursday

New Orleans, La. - With an upper low currently over Louisiana, we can expect several rounds of showers and storms today and tomorrow with frequent breaks.

High temperatures are kept in place because of the clouds and rain, and will remain in the upper 70s.

A Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for all of Southeast LA and southern MS until Thursday afternoon/evening due to the probability of heavy rain across the entire region over the next few days.

3-5 inches of additional rainfall is possible with drying conditions not until Friday once a cold front pushes through.

Expect a big temperature drop behind the front and morning lows by Saturday in the 40s and 50s with afternoon highs in the low 70s. Sunny skies through the weekend and into early next week!
