Hammond - Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's deputies find a the vehicle believed to have been used in the Ryan's Deli burglary on April 28, 2013 behind a Hammond fitness center. The vault stolen from inside of the ATM machine has also been recovered.

Video surveillance outside the Ryan's Deli at 43195 South Range Rd. showed that a white pickup truck backed up to the front entrance of the store around 10:30 p.m. on April 28. Deputies say someone hooked a chain to the front doors and pulled them down.

The suspect(s) then placed the chain around the ATM inside of the store and pulled it out.

Detectives found the white pick-up F250 Wednesday behind North Cypress Fitness Center in Hammond. The truck contained numerous amounts of evidence which detectives say verified that it was the vehicle used in the burglary. Surveillance video at the fitness center shows the suspect(s) leaving in a maroon Cougar with a silver or grey stripe on the sides.

On Monday, the stolen vault was recovered on Choctaw Rd. in Baton Rouge.

Anyone with information regarding the burglary or possible suspects should call Crime Stoppers at 800-554-5245.
