Tow company removes cars from Bayou St. John

New Orleans, La. - Towing companies began pulling submerged cars from Bayou St. John Monday as part of the ongoing search for missing school teacher Terrilynn Monette.

La. State Representative Austin Badon says as many as 22 cars will be removed from the bayou.

The bayou has been a point of focus since Monette's disappearance. She was last seen on March 2 at a bar in Lakeview.

Divers and search teams have combed the areas in and around City Park for any clue that may help investigators find her or her missing car, a 2012 black Honda Accord.
