FOX 8 received this news release from the New Orleans Police Dept. Tuesday afternoon:
Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating 17-year-old Marcell Borden, who was last seen by his mother Friday May 3, 2013 at approximately 8:00 A.M., leaving her house in the 1500 block of Tricou Street after having recent disciplinary problems with him.
His mother advised she has reported him as a runaway before and became concerned when she was unable to contact him and has not seen or heard from her since.
His mother advised he suffers from Moderate Retardation, Emotional Behavior, and Attention Deficit Disorder and is in need of his medication.
Marcell Borden is described as an African-American male with a blonde Mohawk hair style and is approximately 6'2" tall and about 160 pounds.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Marcell Borden is asked to call 821-2222.
