Crippled Carnival Triumph leaves Mobile after nearly 3 months

Mobile, Al.- Carnival's troubled cruise ship Triumph won't spend the night on the gulf coast.

The ship started pulling away from Mobile Wednesday afternoon, after spending nearly three months there for repairs.

The ship's next stop is the Bahamas where more repairs will be done.

The ship left Galveston, Texas, on February 7 for a four-day jaunt to Cozumel, Mexico. A fire in the engine room paralyzed the ship 2 days later, leaving it adrift in the Gulf of Mexico until tugboats towed the massive 14-story vessel to Mobile.

It took 5 days to get the ship to Mobile.
