New Orleans, La. - Despite rain on three of the festival's seven days, more than 425,000 people attended the 2013 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

That's a slightly dampened response compared to the more than 500,000 who made it out to last year's festival.

The Jazz Fest lineup this year included headliners from the world of pop, such as Fleetwood Mac, while finishing the festival as always with Trombone Shorty.

By comparison, more than 562,000 people attended the free French Quarter Festival earlier in April.
