Police look for man in Algiers armed robbery

New Orleans, La.- Police are looking for this man for an armed robbery at Papa John's Pizza in Algiers last Sunday.

It happened in the 3500 block of Holiday Drive around 9 a.m. when the suspect entered the business with a gun and demanded money from the manager.

Once the manager complied, the suspect fled on foot towards Holiday Drive, possibly heading towards the Garden Oaks area.

Police describe the suspect as an African-American male in his mid to late 40's, approximately 6'2 in height and weighing between 230-240 pounds.

The suspect also has a medium build with dark complexion skin and a large mole located on his nose above his left nostril.

Police say it is believed the subject has acne or freckles on both sides of his face, a manicured goatee and two golden canine teeth.

He was last seen wearing a dark colored "Doo-rag", a grey button down long sleeve shirt and dark colored jeans. The subject was also observed to be in possession of a small firearm.
