Deputies continue search for missing Arabi woman

New Orleans, La - Officers with the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Department continue to search for a woman missing from Arabi. Shirley Clouatre, 79, was last seen around 3:00 p.m. Thursday after getting off of a public bus in Arabi.

According to police, new information from the Regional Transit Authority placed Clouatre in New Orleans Friday afternoon. Officials with the RTA notified police that surveillance footage from a bus showed Clouatre exiting the vehicle near the intersection of N. Rampart and Conti around 3:40 p.m.

Clouatre was last seen wearing a dark blouse and dark pants. She is around five feet, four inches and weighs around 200 pounds. Police say that she suffers from dementia.
