LSU names dean of human sciences, education

 

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Damon Andrew has been hired as dean of LSU's College of Human Sciences and Education.

He had been serving as professor and dean of the College of Health and Human Services at Troy University in Alabama. He will join LSU on July 1.

Andrew succeeds Laura Lindsay, who is retiring after more than 30 years at LSU.

Andrew holds a doctorate in sports administration from Florida State University.
