JPSO seeks pair for multiple armed robberies

Metairie, La. - The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in capturing two robbery suspects who hit three times in one day.

Police say Thursday, two black male suspects armed with semiautomatic pistols committed a series of armed robberies in Metairie.

The first was a pedestrian robbery at 6320 Riverside Drive in Metairie.  The second was an attempt armed robbery of a pedestrian at 5200 Veterans Boulevard, and the third was a business robbery at the Discount Zone at 1620 Veterans Boulevard.

During the investigation, detectives identified two suspects they believe are responsible.

They are 21 year-old David Lewis of Metairie. He is described a black male, 5'5" and about 130 pounds and 19 year-old Stanford Randolph of New Orleans. He is described as a black male, 6'0", and about 190 pounds.

In two of the incidents, the suspects were observed fleeing in an unknown make model white minivan.
