New Orleans fugitive arrested in California

New Orleans, La. - California authorities report they have arrested New Orleans fugitive, Darnell Ellis, who is wanted on charges for drugs and gang activity.

East Palo Alto deputies say yesterday evening Ellis led them on a foot chase and was caught with ecstasy pills and marijuana.

NOPD says Darnell Ellis and the others known as the"6th Ward D-Block" terrorized an area bounded by North Broad Street and Esplanade, North Claiborne and Orleans Avenues.

San Mateo County Deputies are holding Ellis on a felony fugitive warrant.
