JP seeks suspects who robbed Metairie wireless store

METAIRIE, La. - FOX 8 received the following news release from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office:

"On Sunday, May 26, 2013, at approximately 2:30 p.m., two suspects entered A.I. Wireless, 4401 Veterans Boulevard. One suspect was armed with a handgun, walked behind the service counter. He demanded and received the money from the business. The second suspect, who appeared to be armed with a weapon, remained in the customer area controlling the one customer in the business. After the first suspect received the money, both suspects fled on foot. Investigators have been unable to positively determine if a getaway vehicle was used. The first suspect was described as a white male, 5'6" to 5'9", heavy build, wearing a mask, tan gloves, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black athletic shoes. The second suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, 5'6" to 5'9", medium to heavy build, wearing a baseball cap, black gloves, a tan or yellow pullover, collared shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect was captured on video surveillance and is depicted in the attached photograph.  Anyone recognizing this suspect  is asked to contact the JPSO Robbery Section at 504 364-5376 or Crimestoppers."
