Covington, La. -

Half a dozen people face charges linked to a home invasion in Covington.

FOX 8 received this news release from the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office Wednesday afternoon:

After an intense search of a Slidell neighborhood by deputies, the third suspect from a Covington area home invasion has been arrested.

  • Arrestee: Jonathan "Coffee" Hudson - 200 Nottingham Ln., Slidell (W/M – DOB: 09/26/84)
  • Sheriff's Office Investigators focused their search for Hudson Sunday afternoon in the Kingspoint subdivision. Hudson's last known address and that of family members was located inside the neighborhood.

During the course of their search, Hudson was forced to flee from the subdivision and into the wooded area that surrounds the neighborhood. Deputies from the Patrol and K-9 Divisions joined in the search along with the Sheriff's Office helicopter.

The search for Hudson continued throughout the night. Deputies came across a vehicle with its dome light on and a set of license plates inside. Deputies became suspicious of the vehicle and contacted the owner. It was discovered that the vehicle was stolen from a residence nearby earlier in the night.

Around 5:00 AM, Hudson contacted the Sheriff's Office and stated that he could not take the pressure of the manhunt any longer. He gave his location to deputies and awaited their arrival while lying in the street. He was taken into custody without incident.

Hudson confessed to taking the vehicle that deputies found earlier in the night with switched license plates. He stated that he was afraid to drive out of the neighborhood due to the large Sheriff's Office presence and abandon the vehicle.

In addition to Hudson's arrest, investigators arrested three other persons yesterday in connection to the home invasion and brought additional charges against Beau Ledoux and Christopher Allo.

  • Arrestee: Steve Clark – 309 Somerset Dr., Slidell (W/M – DOB 4/19/83)
  • Arrestee: Jennica Keebler – 84033 Bozy Mizell Dr., Sun (W/F – DOB 10/14/91)
  • Arrestee: William Ledoux – 84672 Clarence Rd., Sun (W/M – DOB 11/16/95)
  • Steve Clark and Jennica Keebler were arrested and charged with accessory after the fact for their role in assisting Hudson following the home invasion. William Ledoux, the brother of Beau Ledoux, was arrested for his part in the planning of the home invasion.
