Two teens arrested for westbank armed robbery

Harvey, La. - The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested two teens for an armed robbery that happened in the Woodmere neighborhood.

A spokesman with the JPSO says 16 year-old Jordan Francois and 17 year-old Robert Cooley held up a pedestrian at gunpoint on June 18th in the 3800 block of Morriswood Drive.

Members of the JPSO Robbery Section are currently investigating a series of pedestrian robberies in the Woodmere Area. Five have occurred in the past ten days.

Information was developed linking Francois and Cooley to the most recent incident.

Line-ups were shown to the victim who positively identified Francois and Cooley as the two suspects.

In all of the cases, the suspects have been described as black males ranging in age from 15 to 23 and hair styles from short afros to twists to dreadlocks. Their height ranges from 5'2" to 6'0". In each of the cases the gunmen wore masks which have been described as bandanas or ski-masks. The weapons are described as dark semi-automatic pistols.
