NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A hearing for one of two suspects arrested after gunfire during a neighborhood parade in New Orleans left 20 people hurt in May has been delayed.
Twenty-four-year-old Shawn Scott was set for what court records call a preliminary hearing in magistrate court Thursday morning.
Shawn Scott and his 19-year-old brother Akein Scott were arrested days after the shooting, which brought an abrupt and bloody end to a second-line parade on Mother's Day.
Bond for each of them was set at $10 million. A judge was expected to postpone the hearing until next Thursday.
