BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - State lottery officials say a 50-year-old Albany man has claimed his $1 million Powerball prize from the June 29 drawing.

Eric Bankston's Quick Pick ticket matched all five white-ball numbers but missed the Powerball number. Bankston received $700,000 after federal and state taxes were withheld.

He purchased his ticket at Kangaroo Express in Albany. The store will receive a selling bonus of $10,000, which is 1 percent of the prize.
