2nd suspect in NOPD officer's death released from jail

New Orleans, La. - Another suspect in the hit-and-run accident involving an NOPD officer is out of jail. As FOX 8 first reported on Morning Edition, Bill Cager posted $100,000 dollars bond Wednesday night.

Cager owns the body shop where New Orleans police say they found the Porche that struck Officer Rodney Thomas early Sunday morning.

The suspected driver, Justin McKey, bonded out earlier this week. The third suspect, Kenneth Halley, remains in jail.

Meantime, police released surveillance images of a fourth man they want to question. Investigators say this picture was captured at the Best of the Best auto shop in Mid-City the morning Thomas was killed on the Highrise.
