Man found shot to death in Seventh Ward

New Orleans -- Homicide detectives with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a 21-year-old man dead. The incident occurred Saturday in the 1400 block of Saint Anthony Street. The name of the man will be released once family members are notified. 

Police say that responding officers arrived on the scene to find the man sitting inside of a vehicle, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. The man was pronounced dead on the scene. 

Investigators are in the process of gathering information and evidence to find the person(s) responsible, as well as a motive.
