Man found shot to death on S. Broad and Gravier


New Orleans, La. - A man was found shot to death early Sunday morning in the Tulane-Gravier neighborhood, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

The name of the 33-year-old man has not been released pending notification of family members.  The shooting happened at approximately 12:10 a.m. at the intersection of South Broad Avenue and Gravier Street. 

Responding officers found the man lying on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He died on the scene.   

The lead homicide detective in this case is Joseph Jefferson.
