2 women, man accused of armed robbery in Terrebonne

FOX 8 received the following news release Monday from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office:

Three subjects were arrested early Saturday morning in connection with an armed robbery, Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said.

Saturday at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 complaint in reference to an armed robbery that occurred outside of a residence in Ashland North subdivision.

The two adult male victims reported to deputies that while standing outside of their residence, they were approached by two females and a male subject asking for directions. As they attempted to speak with the subjects, the male suspect yielded a firearm, struck one of the victims multiple times in his head with the gun and robbed the victims of cash and cellular phones.

The suspect fled in a vehicle.

Minutes later, while patrolling the area, patrolmen noticed a vehicle matching a description given by the victims in the area of Industrial Blvd. A traffic stop was conducted and the three suspects were identified and taken into custody.

Evidence located inside the vehicle tied the suspects to the robbery.

The victim was treated for his injuries.

The three suspects were arrested and each charged with two counts of armed robbery. They are identified as:

          Kimberly Bennett, 18, of 307 Patrick Drive, Schriever.

          Wilika Winston, 20, 415 Hwy 20, Schriever.

          Torrence Goff, 37, 1245 St. Charles Street, Thibodaux.

The bond for all suspects was set at $300,000 each. All suspects remain in custody at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex.
