Former model accused of rape, back in jail

New Orleans, La. - A high-profile rape suspect is back in custody Monday night.

About two weeks ago, a judge cleared the way for former model Dean Kelly to live in a boathouse in New Orleans while wearing an electronic monitor.

The 41-year-old had been out on a million dollar bond and living with his parents on Saint Charles Avenue.

Just a few minutes ago, Orleans Parish Sheriff Marlin Gusman released a statement Monday night, explaining that Kelly has violated the conditions placed on him by the judge earlier this month.

"Under the conditions of his release on the electronic monitoring program, Kelly was assigned to live in an area residence, where he was under several restrictions, including not having contact with females. In the course of conducting a proactive check of Dean's residence, deputies discovered a female on the premises" said Gusman.

Kelly is now locked up at the correctional complex.

He is accused of raping two teenage girls in 2005 and 2006.
