Scott's three-part series on the staff and patients stranded at Charity Hospital during Hurricane Katrina earned a 2007 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award. His stories have also gained recognition from the Associated Press.
Prior to moving back to the New Orleans area, he worked at WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge and WMDN-TV in Meridian, MS. Scott interned at WCBD-TV in Charleston, SC.
Scott graduated from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) with a journalism degree in 2003.
In his spare time, Scott follows the Saints, Pelicans and his Ole Miss Rebels. You can also catch him exploring the diverse New Orleans music scene.
